This fire-breathing dragon is relatively easy to find. It is directly north-west of Drakenden. The nearest portal is the Mystdale Castle portal and slightly further is the Valley of Zhurag-Nar portal. This dragon ALWAYS drops a Portal Rune along with gold and items. This rune can be used to activate the portal directly west of where the dragon is usually found. The portal can be hard to locate because this area is generally darker than most other in the game. Look out for a tree with lights around it. The tree will also have ghosts nearby, so if you run into ghosts then you arent far from the portal. The dragon usually has Cave Fish, Tarantulas (all sorts), Poison Trolls around him.
This ice-breath dragon is extremely easy to locate, yet often missed by many. He is located north of Icecreek Pass, and cannot be accessed until you get to Act 3 and have begun collecting the Elements. He is located in Frostgard, and is just down the path from where you collect your first Element of Ancaria. The nearest portal is the Monastery of Seraphim portal and slightly further out is the Icecreek Pass portal. This dragon ALWAYS drops a Portal Rune along with gold and items. This rune can be used to activate the portal found directly behind him. It is hidden behind a large block of ice, but isnt hard to find. The portal will take you close to Wyvern Pass in the Urkuk desert region. Around this dragon you will usually find Ice Lizards, Frost Giants, Goblins and Ghosts.
This fire-breathing dragon is in a very obscure location, but is early on in the game when everyone is exploring everything, so not many people miss him. From the map it looks as if he can be accessed from Tyr-Fasul or Mascarell, but he cant. The only way to reach him is to head out south from Porto Draco then take the path headin west, past the cemetary. This path will eventually head into the forest area. Along the way you will cross a bridge and from there on will be following the river bank until you get to the opening where you meet him. There are no other paths leading off the river path, so it is impossible to get lost, theonly hard part being actually locating the path in the first place. The nearest portal to this dragon is in Mascarell. This dragon drops nothing (for me at least), but be sure to collect the Cursed Treasure behind him. Around this dragon you will usually find Dark Elves (archers), Ghosts, Forest Trolls and Forest Lizards (?!).
This fire-breathing dragon is easily located because you have to kill him (or at least run past him) to get to one of the elements. You probably can miss him if you play with your eyes closed. He is guarding the Fire Element of Ancaria and you can use the Main Quest pointers to get to him. The nearest portal to this dragon is the Fields of Urkuk portal. The dragon ALWAYS drops a portal rune along with gold and items. The runs can be used to activate a portal in the dungeon behing him, the same dungeon where the Element is located (so is marked on map). Look around south of the Element and you will find the portal. The portal will take you outside Braverock. Around this dragon you will usually find Evil Magicians and Dragonian Guards.
This fire-breathing dragon is another one who is in an obscure location, yet often found because he is early on in the game and at time when people are exploring extensively. In Act 1, you have to go and see De Mordrey in Crows Rock Castle. De Morderey is located in a castle on a hill. Use the Main Quest pointer to get to him. Just before you go up the hill, you go through some stables. Look for a gate heading west and around De Mordrey's hill (see pic below). There you will find a dungeon. Directly down the passage you enter in, there is a room which contains a portal. The portal will only open if you kill the Magician close by it. Going through this portal will take you to an island found near Shire's Den. The nearest portal to this dragon is the Timberton portal, the Icecreek Pass one is also close by. The dragon usualy drops lots of gold and treasure. Around this dragon you will find Goblins, Thieves, Ronin, Warghs and Bandits.
This poison-breathing dragon is another easy to locate one. He is found just outside Khorad-Nur. You have to travel to Khorad-Nur as part of your main quest, and before you enter you are told either to defeat this dragon or to fight the gate-keeper. If you chose to fight the dragon then you will be a blue quest pointer locating him. The nearest portal is the Khorad-Nur portal. His drop consists of gold and items. Around this dragon you will find only Skeletons and Orcs.
Loromir, Protector of Honor
The one and only friendly dragon in the game. He is found in Drakenden, close to the town merchant. He will give you several quests. The first being the rescue of a Princess. The Princess will then tell you to retrieve a Diamond, which you have to take the local smith to make a lance so it can be used a toothpick for the dragon (?!). The the dragon will ask you to find 4 knights. Another little related non-quest tip is to find the merchant located on the bridge between Mystdale Castle and Drakenden. This merchant will offer you a dragon egg when you first talk to him (see pic below). Buy the egg for 1000 gold and take it to the friendly dragon. You will get around 4000 gold and exp for doing so. The closest portals to him are the Mystdale Castle portal and slightly further off the Valley of Zhurag-Nar portal. There is NO way possible to get the dragon (or his little kid) to go hostile with you, so you cannot fight him.
